Almah
Almah (the Brazilian power prog metal band) was initially established in 2006 as a side project of Angra’s singer Edu Falaschi. With Angra (Brazilian prog-power band having sold over 1 million copies in its 15-year career) Edu released 3 albums and composed Angra's songs like Nova Era, Heroes Of Sand, The Course Of Nature, and Spread Your Fire, among others. Since 2006 Almah has released two albums and has turned from a solo-project into a band with regular activities. Edu runs Almah simultaneously with his work with Angra, and the band is currently working at its third studio album.
The first self-titled Almah was released in the second half of 2006 (Japan/Victor-JVC and Brazil/Laser Company) / in March 2007 (Europe/AFM Records). Besides singing, Edu Falaschi also produced the record, composed all the songs and wrote all the lyrics.
