Wormed

Wormed is an experimental brutal death metal band from Madrid, Spain formed in 1998.

Wormed's lyrics tend to involve space, mathematics, human evolution, and other mysteries. They have achieved a large amount of popularity among death metal fans because of their very distinctive vocalist, Phlegeton.

The band's name originally meant "rotten" or "full of worms," but when Phlegeton replaced original vocalist Rubￃﾩn, he incorporated the name into the band's lyrical concept. To Phlegeton, "wormed" is a mental state in which the human being dwells inside this immense universe, like a small "worm" inside an "intestine," (the Universe). And how he feels when realises that he cannot get outside of it.

The second edition of Planisphaerium includes all the songs from their first two releases as bonus tracks.
