Fjoergyn

Fjoergyn is a German metal band formed in 2003. Currently it consists of three members. Their name comes from Fjörgyn, the name of a goddess associated with the earth in Norse mythology.
On 29 March 2005 they released their debut album Ernte Im Herbst on the record label Black Attakk. It is a concept album about nature's revenge against mankind. They used a drum machine since they had no drummer at the time of the recording.
Their second album, Sade et Masoch, was released in Spring 2007. This album also saw the addition of a new member.
In November 2009, they released their third album Jahreszeiten as the third and last part of the trilogy about nature's revenge. For this album, they changed bassplayers again and added a new guitarplayer.
